AFTERCARE TIPS

After your treatment, you may experience some swelling, bruising, redness and/or itching. These side effects are normal and should improve with proper care. You’ll want to:
 

  1. Drinking plenty of water to help hydrate your skin and prevent dehydration from occurring.

  2. Do not drink alcohol while recovering for the first 24 hours.

  3. Avoid stressful situations or activities that could increase your heart rate too much, like exercise or hot showers/baths.

  4. To help minimize swelling, apply an ice pack wrapped in a damp towel to your face for a few times a day throughout the week to help decrease swelling, bruising and pain.

  5. Massage your face gently a few times a day throughout the week. This will also help reduce any swelling or bruising.
