MICRONEEDLING TO TREAT FACIAL SKIN CONCERNS

Microneedling works by creating thousands of tiny perforations in the skin. This stimulates the body’s natural ability to rejuvenate and heal itself, turning dead or damaged skin into fresh new cells. Microneedling also helps your body create new collagen by stimulating the production of elastin and hyaluronic acid. These are important proteins that help keep skin plump and youthful-looking. Here are some reasons why you may want to consider this cosmetic treatment

  • Brings out your natural beauty

  • The treatment doesn’t require surgery

  • Personal treatment options

  • It’s a fast procedure

COMMON AREAS WE TREAT

Acne Scars

Microneedling can be used to smooth out the skin around acne scars, which can make the scars less noticeable.

Skin Elasticity

Microneedling can tighten, lift and rejuvenate the skin by improving its strength and elasticity.

Dark Spots

Microneedling can be used to treat discoloration by improving the health of skin cells.

IS MICRONEEDLING RIGHT FOR YOU?

Microneedling is a great way to improve the appearance of scars, wrinkles, and other skin imperfections. However, if you currently have acne, you should wait until your face clears up before getting microneedling treatments.

Some other common reasons patients use this treatment include:

  • Diminish the appearance of enlarged pores on face

  • Reduce blotchiness, and even out skin tone.

  • Improve texture of skin

  • Reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines

BEFORE & AFTER RESULTS

Skin rejuvenation with microneedling can be expected to last for about three to five months. After this time, you should expect the results of microneedling treatments to fade. This is because the collagen in your skin will start to break down over time, causing the results of your treatment to diminish.

PRICING OPTIONS

Our microneedling pricing structure is simple: a basic session cost $250 while a package of 3 sessions cost $600 ($150 in savings). To learn more about our pricing, please visit our price list.

AFTERCARE TIPS

After your microneedling session is completed, you can expect to have redness on your face. While this is normal, it’s important to take certain precautions to reduce inflammation and ensure that you’re healing properly. You’ll want to:

  1. Don’t pick at the scabs that form on your skin.

  2. Don’t use any products containing alcohol, retinol, or salicylic acid. These can dry out and irritate the skin.

  3. Avoid stressful situations or activities that could increase your heart rate too much, like exercise or hot showers/baths.

  4. Don’t drink alcohol for 72 hours after your treatment. Alcohol can further dry out your skin, so it’s best to avoid it for a couple days after microneedling.

  5. Stay hydrated by drinking lots of water and avoiding caffeine, alcohol, and sugary foods in order to heal quickly.

F.A.Q

Does microneedling hurt?

No, microneedling doesn’t hurt. It can cause some discomfort, but that’s usually temporary and goes away quickly. Many patients describe it as feeling like a series of pricks or stings when the needle passes through their skin.

How many microneedling sessions do you need?

Ideally, 3 – 6 sessions are best to see effective results. However, the number of sessions you need will vary based on your skin type and the severity of your skin concerns. We recommend starting with a series of 3 treatments and then reassessing after that point.

How much does microneedling cost?

One session of microneedling typically costs $250, and you can get three sessions for $600.

Can you wear makeup after microneedling?

The short answer is no. You should avoid wearing makeup after a treatment for at least 24 hours because it can cause irritation and delay healing.
