AFTERCARE TIPS

To ensure the best possible results from your treatment and keep your skin healthy, glowing, and protected, please follow these aftercare recommendations carefully:
Post-Treatment Aftercare Instructions
  1. Wear SPF Daily
    Protecting your skin from sun exposure is essential after facials, peels, dermaplaning, and pigmentation treatments. Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily and avoid prolonged direct sun exposure.

  2. Avoid Heat & Sweating for 24–48 Hours
    Avoid intense workouts, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and excessive heat immediately after treatment, as this can increase irritation and sensitivity.

  3. Keep Your Skin Hydrated
    Use gentle, hydrating skincare products and drink plenty of water to support healing and maintain your results.

  4. Do Not Pick or Exfoliate the Skin
    Avoid scrubs, exfoliants, retinols, acids, or picking/flaking skin while your skin is healing, especially after peels or pigmentation treatments.

  5. Use Gentle Skincare Only
    Stick to a simple skincare routine for several days after treatment. Avoid harsh active ingredients unless otherwise instructed by your provider.

  6. Avoid Makeup if Possible
    We recommend avoiding makeup for at least 12–24 hours after treatments involving extractions, dermaplaning, microneedling, or peels to allow the skin to breathe.

  7. Expect Temporary Sensitivity
    Mild redness, dryness, tightness, or flaking may occur depending on the treatment performed. This is a normal part of the skin renewal process.

  8. Follow Your Customized Homecare Plan
    Consistent homecare is key to maintaining and enhancing your results, especially for treatments targeting acne, pigmentation, melasma, and anti-aging concerns.

How many treatments will I need to see results?

This depends on your skin concerns and goals. While many clients notice improvements after just one treatment, most corrective treatments are recommended in a series of 3 or more sessions for optimal results, especially when targeting concerns such as acne, pigmentation, scarring, melasma, or anti-aging.

Is dermaplaning safe, and will hair grow back thicker?

Yes, dermaplaning is a safe and gentle form of exfoliation when performed by a trained professional. The hair will not grow back thicker or darker. It may appear slightly more noticeable at first because the hair has been bluntly cut rather than naturally tapered. We also offer laser hair removal for clients looking for long-term hair reduction.

Can I combine treatments like dermaplaning, peels, and LED?

Absolutely. Many of our treatments work synergistically together to enhance your overall results. Your aesthetician will guide you on which treatments pair best together and the ideal timing and order for your treatments based on your skin goals.
